Let the waters soak and your heart be quencehed
It\’s ok and rain gives new life
New hope and new love giving birth day during night
For though it seems like all newness be absent
Newness is given when rainfall happens
And it does, when and where it doest desire
Like a surprise it thrusts a fire
Brings a sudden shock you didn\’t expect to see
See now, the rains gave life to the lilly
Like a lilly among thorns so your dance does stand
As though your skip and swing were by chance not planned
I\’d watch if it were given to me opportune
Paying my attention to your every move
Better than that if I dare speak this mind
With my heart on a sleeve I\’d slip by your side
Grabbing your hand, leading the shuffle
I\’d move us towards the biggest puddle
And you\’d smile that smile I\’ve seen picturesque
I would stop and cry and consider me blessed
And the rains would keep falling, a shower spilling
Like a waltz in heaven tender hearts so willing
The perfect dream, a dreamer I be accused
But a dream and a dance not to be refused
Serve me correct if right place I be
