So that I can see the light
Tragic
Infuriating and earth shaking
Oath breaking
Now we stance taking
Marching and crying
Our voices breaking
Barriers separated law enforcers from public broken
Different way of life
Hoping from words spoken
Lay down tears not lives for what counts
United we stand from what we mount
Steps to the tallest peaks
From there the quietest voice is loud
Never weak
Justice for all is what we seek
Public quest
From where ever we rest
Social injustice a challenge and test
Stand together and lock arms
So we can lock arms
Protect and serve
So we can live our lives assured
Protect our little ones from the absurd
Injustice 6 feet from the curb
Open and misplaced trust
To change procedure and practice
Charge and convict
For manipulation of statute
Bending and breaking the facts too
Make this the last murder from them blue dudes
