As 2020 kicks off I anticipate a lot of changes. More change. My eldest son turned 11 last year. He’s incredibly smart and has such a good nature. He has two little brothers with his mom’s family and this year he will get a third little brother on my side.
Being a father has been an amazing experience despite myself. I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way. Yet I continue to improve myself daily. This is recovery. I have a new relationship with God as I understand. I found a fellowship of men who, like myself, have started new.
I haven’t been a great partner or husband. My goal in 2020 is to start new in that respect as well. The love of my life and I are finally having a child together. Working to find favor in her eyes is a worthy endeavor. I’m proud to be where I am.
