{"id":2450,"date":"2014-01-07T22:42:56","date_gmt":"2014-01-08T03:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jarodthornton.com\/bemis3lf\/?p=2450"},"modified":"2014-01-07T22:42:56","modified_gmt":"2014-01-08T03:42:56","slug":"its-too-cold-outside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jarodthornton.com\/bemis3lf\/2014\/01\/07\/its-too-cold-outside\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#039;s Too Cold Outside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Post the holiday season of a former year and the reset to 1 of 365 days of which to make the most. \u00a0It&#8217;s cold outside though. \u00a0I want to sleep in, hibernate. \u00a0I don&#8217;t want to face the critics making myself accountable for what were the problems created of yesteryear. \u00a0My urgency to move forward outweighs this disconnected consciousness though. \u00a0Moving forward is the only motion I have before the court of being alive; life. \u00a0Something like that.<br \/>\nThis is by far the most difficult time of the year to create income for my business and sustain the livelihood that is my adult life. \u00a0It could be worse; it could be better. \u00a0I&#8217;m not one to complain. \u00a0I only wish it were an abundance and not so much a want and need. \u00a0Truly I want for nothing and my needs are purely interpersonal with great regard to my input as a decent human being who has the capacity to show humility and love. \u00a0I know my shortcomings. \u00a0That&#8217;s a dangerous reality; knowing oneself. \u00a0When you can identify your flaws it only makes you stronger. \u00a0That is if you do something about it. \u00a0I try everyday.<br \/>\nYou would think that someone like myself, with so many burnt bridges, could find warmth in the cold outside. \u00a0I&#8217;m no arsonist though. \u00a0Burnt is past tense and I&#8217;m all about second chances; letting go of the what was. \u00a0I can&#8217;t go back and cross those bridges again or even rebuild them. \u00a0They are the proverbial scorched path of reckless ego and youth in my face. \u00a0Somber to the thought. \u00a0I can only take away that which I learned and of what became the better person before you today. \u00a0That&#8217;s fiery. \u00a0Perhaps I am an arsonist. \u00a0I do keep close to the flame and ignite the passion of a moment when embraced by what good there is of myself, especially when I really know and feel it inside. \u00a0I guess it&#8217;s not so cold outside that it be impossible to bare the step forth to foot destiny, whatever that is;
