That is the miracle of it. \u00a0We are not fighting it, neither are we avoiding temptation. \u00a0We feel as though we had been placed in position of neutrality &#8211; safe and protected. \u00a0We have not even sworn off. \u00a0Instead, the problem has been removed. \u00a0It does not exist for us. \u00a0We are neither cocky nor are we afraid. \u00a0That is our experience. \u00a0That is how we react so long as we keep in fit spiritual condition.<br \/>\nIt is easy to let up on the spiritual program of action and rest on our laurels. \u00a0We are headed for trouble if we do, for there is a subtle foe. \u00a0We are not cured. \u00a0What we really have is a daily reprieve contingent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition. \u00a0Every day is a day when we must carry the vision of God&#8217;s will into all of our activities. \u00a0&#8220;How can I best serve God &#8211; His will (not mine) be done.&#8221; \u00a0These are thoughts which must go with us constantly. \u00a0We can exercise our will power along this line all we wish. \u00a0It is the proper use of the will.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I am an ego-maniac and that&#8217;s the reality I face day to day. \u00a0It&#8217;s better that I give my will to God because only then can I go forward with the right attitude. \u00a0Without this reprieve I am hopeless and lost and doomed to go out and do all the things I have been rescued from. \u00a0Despite having a new attitude and living a revived spiritual walk, it is always possible to grab my old attitudes and my will and head right down the path I was on before. \u00a0I&#8217;m not afraid of this at all. \u00a0What I&#8217;ve gone through must have been something that I needed to go through, though it would have been easier had I not.<br \/>\nThe page of this chapter I just quoted from goes on to describe the process of receiving this awesome gift of a life changing attitude. \u00a0It makes reference to 59:2:11 &#8220;seeking through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understand him, we pray for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.&#8221; \u00a0This suggests prayer and meditation and we shouldn&#8217;t be shy on this matter of prayer.<br \/>\nNow I go forward and make progress but I understand I will never be perfect and for that matter, no one is or will be. \u00a0I can live with that today. \u00a0Tomorrow, I will ask to have the same attitude going forward through the day, and likewise the day after. \u00a0This is the progress of spiritual improvement and growth.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>Books In Church by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.publicdomainpictures.net\/browse-author.php?a=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Petr\u00a0Kratochvil<\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"_atssh\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"image_text\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Very interesting topic I shared a little insight on this morning at AM fellowship. 85:0 Into Action We will see that our new attitude has been given us without any thought or effort on our part. \u00a0It just comes!
