{"id":1326,"date":"2013-06-08T13:19:31","date_gmt":"2013-06-08T17:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jarodthornton.com\/bemis3lf\/?p=1326"},"modified":"2013-06-08T13:19:31","modified_gmt":"2013-06-08T17:19:31","slug":"observable-distance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jarodthornton.com\/bemis3lf\/2013\/06\/08\/observable-distance\/","title":{"rendered":"Observable Distance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Everything is right under our feet or a flight on an airplane away. \u00a0Then one day in the distance our human eye observes something beyond the reach of any human foothold. \u00a0Or seemingly so. \u00a0We can send a satellite to take photos, see up close and send data that tells us all we want to know about the object but cannot physically reach it ourselves. \u00a0Yet it is something we observe in the distance, in our field of sight, for a moment.<br \/>\nImagination can project whatever our mind yields; the desirable attributes and purpose of the object. \u00a0We can apply certain ideas and concepts of it&#8217;s existence. \u00a0 In the end, it is yet something unreachable. \u00a0Even if we were able to ie. walk on the moon, the closest of what seems an infinite number of cosmic bodies, we must still be separated from a physical contact by means of a wall ie. space suit.<br \/>\nHowever, once again our minds conceive there being in some distant galaxy, perhaps an alternate universe, a cosmic body which we can indeed inhabit. \u00a0Something our bare feet can touch upon with confidence it will provide a hospitable environment. \u00a0This is quite an encouraging thought to our finite mind; there&#8217;s something out there that is a compatible body to our own planet. A body with such similarity it&#8217;s existence is much like our own and our own much like it is. \u00a0All that it is matches what we are and have.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m writing this as an analogy to finding the right person as a partner in life. \u00a0Life being the infinite and my existence the cosmic body and my mind the searching light. \u00a0My signals are the beacon of searching. \u00a0I&#8217;m looking forward to showing the maturity gained in the time of my existence as a human and sharing that with another. \u00a0It would never be like before. \u00a0Mistakes I&#8217;ve made in the past are the keystone of how I&#8217;ve learned to be better.<br \/>\n<strong>Now a few quotes on mistakes (because they can be viewed as negative or &#8211; <em>positive)&#8230;<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.\u201d<br \/>\n<em>\u2015 Albert Einstein<\/em><br \/>\n\u201cWhen you find your path, you must not be afraid.
