You’ve heard of GoDaddy, Bluehost, Host Gator, Site5 etc etc… These are common shared hosting platforms and all but GoDaddy are owned by the same parent company, EIG (Endurance International Group).

Years ago I made the decision to get into the WWW and focus on hosting infrastructure at the partner level as a webmaster. I wanted to be able to support my clients online and I knew that started with a website and thus website hosting. I quickly learned shared hosting like what the companies I mentioned above offer would not cut it.

At first I hosted websites just like anyone else. Any time I needed support I jumped on a phone or chat and ended up connecting to the other side of the planet with someone who’s first language wasn’t English. I’m not suggesting there is anything wrong with that, it just wasn’t ideal for my situation.

Later I moved into the realm of Virtual Private Servers and bought my own VPS.

I became a Liquid Web, Web Professional Partner in 2016 and rebooted my hosting company in 2020 as Adopt the Web, an Emajen LLC Kentucky Assumed Name. Liquid Web is a the market leader in managed hosting and managed application services to SMBs and entrepreneurs like me 🙂

The level of access I have to the IT architects and support specialists helps a lot, but what is most impressive is how hands off their managed VPS service is for webmasters like myself. I have root access and full control of everything on the server, but when I need an extra set of hands LW is a click away.

I provide managed hosting solutions for individuals, organizations and small businesses.

The World’s Most-Loved Hosting Company

With the support of industry leading server hosting from Liquid Web and “The Most Helpful Humans in Hosting” support, I am able to manage my customers web presence more effectively and efficiently.

Liquid Web has a Net Promoter Score (NPS® ) of 67 which puts them among the world’s most loved brands — and makes them No. 1 in the hosting industry.
